 I provide a variety of activities for the children each day. The activities are planned around the ages of the group in attendance. Activities are planned to be stimulating, fun and to address the needs of the whole child (cognitive, physical, social and emotional development). Children in my care will have the opportunity to learn about colors, manners, numbers, letters, shapes, animals, seasons, senses, feelings, nutrition and feelings. I have a indoor classroom and a outdoor play area. My back yard is fully fenced and equipped with a play house, slide, climbing, swings, ride-on-toys, balls, etc. My curriculum includes: Art and Crafts, Cooking, Dramatic Play, Finger Plays, Stories, Group Time, Large Muscle, Math, Music, Science, Sensory, and Social Studies. Communication between the childs home and school is important to me. Family letters will be sent home on a weekly basis stating the theme of the week, activities, and describe the concept the children will learn, along with a weekly child report. Parent conferences will be scheduled periodically two times a year with parent(s) and or guardians. By keeping the lines of communication open, I hope to foster a more stable and enjoyable working relationship with the families I serve. Features
